Service Sales Manager
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to oversee the sales of products, systems, and services within a designated market or division, aligning with the overall division strategy. Your daily responsibilities will involve achieving both qualitative and quantitative sales targets, ensuring sustainable order growth, revenue generation, profitability, market share expansion, and customer satisfaction. You will leverage your expertise to identify and develop new sales opportunities.The work model for this position is #hybridThis role specifically contributes to the business area in French-speaking Switzerland. As a member of the sales team, you will maintain an updated opportunity list on a weekly basis, ensuring constant communication with customers while actively participating in offer preparation and the definition of sales strategies.Your key responsibilities will include:• Communicating delivery timelines, payment terms, and general conditions to customers in alignment with ABB’s offerings and strategy.• Ensuring effective marketing activities and articulating the value proposition to customers.• Identifying and driving the development of service sales opportunities within the designated market.• Managing administrative procedures related to the sales process and supporting cash collection and project management activities as needed.• Achieving the assigned budget and required profitability.• Conducting systematic visits to customers.
Qualifications for the role
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in selling electrical products and solutions.
- Strong understanding of electrical products and solutions.
- Proficient in English; proficiency in German and/or Italian is preferred.
- Established relationships and a strong network with major Swiss customers.
- Passionate about developing and implementing marketing communications and advertising plans that effectively highlight the company’s products, services, and brand image to drive sales growth
