For our Headquarter in Glattbrugg we are looking for a Junior Crew & Training Planner. This role is an exciting entry-level opportunity for an aviation enthusiast eager to dive into the operational side of airline crew and training planning. Working closely with the Crew Planning Manager and team members, this role involves supporting the development, optimization, and management of crew and training schedules to ensure efficient, compliant, and smooth operations. This role is ideal for individuals with a keen eye for processes and regulations, a passion for solutions, and a strong learning orientation within a fast-paced environment.
Your main tasks
- Assist in planning crew schedules and coordinating training to meet operational needs and regulatory requirements
- Support in the planning, coordination, and execution of training programs for employees across various departments
- Ensure schedules comply with regulations and address any issues quickly
- Keep accurate records of crew assignments and qualifications
- Analyse scheduling data and contribute to process improvements
- Act as a liaison between crew, internal departments and coordinate schedules and resolve issues
- Prepare reports and documents as required
Your qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, Aviation, or a related field preferred
- Prior experience in an aviation-related role and / or background in scheduling, training coordination or administration is a plus
- Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail in handling complex data sets
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with scheduling software and LMS is a plus
- Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills
- Solution-oriented mindset focused on process optimization and service quality
