You will become part of diverse Bay Level Solutions team which belongs to Hitachi Energy’s Grid Automation business. Our global customers operate in many segments, to whom we offer a complete portfolio of world-class IEDs.
As Global Product Manager for one of those, you’ll become responsible for its offering to its targeted market segments, by driving developing according to market needs and managing complete product life cycle. You collaborate with our complete team according to Product Group strategy being responsible for conception, development, marketing and supporting our sales and factories with respect to overall protection and control product portfolio used in global electrification markets’ various applications.

For this global managerial position having some location flexibility, we offer hybrid working model according to agreed local unit’s practices.
Your responsibilities
- Leading market intelligence, defining market segmentation and identifying potential portfolio gaps, both against the competition and new market opportunities, globally.
- Define product plans and requirements, and set technical, price and cost targets.
- Drive product market communication strategy, be part of implementation.
- Collaborate and act as an interface between external market and several internal functions.

Your background
- You hold a B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Engineering or equivalent.
- You have experience within Product Management or equivalent.
- You understand power system applications well.
- You are an analytical leader and a team player with an independent and solution-oriented working style. You feel comfortable in decision making.
- You are structured and able to grasp the bigger picture.
- You have a strong customer focus combined with market and competitor awareness.
- You are a curious and self-motivated person, who thrives in a cross-functional environment. With your collaborative and communicative skills, you contribute to a great team spirit.
- Strong, well-developed communication, influencing, and leadership skills.
- As you will be working in a global environment, you are fluent in English, written and spoken alike. Willingness to travel time to time.
