Position Summary

The Operational Excellence Program Lead will focus on process efficiency and business transformation within Bavarian Nordic Switzerland. You will report to the Head global Operational Excellence and will be part of a global OE team. Your main responsibilities will be to focus on the Bern Site priorities. You identify opportunities for improvement and craft long-term plans that align with the overall business goals. By analyzing data, developing comprehensive strategies, you drive continuous improvement and maintain a culture of excellence, ensuring the organization remains competitive. Operational Excellence Leads must possess strong strategic thinking skills to identify opportunities for improvement and develop long-term plans that align with organizational goals. Your skills and qualifications:

• Degree level qualification or equivalent in Operational Excellence and/or Lean Management (e.g. LSS Black Belt)
• 8+ years of experience working in Operational Excellences with 3+ years OE lead role
• Experience working in an international environment, preferably in the biotech/pharma industry
• Experience interacting with a diverse group of people
• Proficient written and oral German and English
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently and as a collaborative member of a local and global team
