Pharma Technical Operations Finance (PFT)focuses on processes standardization, business insights delivery and innovation within the PT financial results throughconsistent set of processes, reports and analytic toolswhich enables us to support Business Partners decisions making.
In this role as Finance Enterprise Partner PT (Pharma Technical) you are expected to unlock business value working with PT Global Functions. You will operate in networks and according to agile standards. You will engage and influence decision making with the business and will have the opportunity to engage in relevant work packages with impact on both, company priorities and personal development. You bring expertise and experience which proves track records of solid performance and seniority.
You will bring strong technical expertise (relative to your experience) together with the ability to work in a self-aligning team with minimal hierarchy. You will be a catalyst for the Finance transformation and work effectively as an influencer, leaning in as a coach and catalyst to the Finance network as needed. You have a passion for piloting new approaches and constructively challenging the status quo. You know what great FP&A looks like and can identify improvement areas and also make it happen through effective stakeholder management. You can tolerate ambiguity.
Your main focus area will be PT (Pharma Technical) FP&A. As a member of the PT HQ consolidation squad, you will need to deal with themes related to consolidated COGS and period cost for actual and forecast events. As part of this role, you will monitor the results and coordinate the monthly consolidation process. You will also analyze and communicate the actual and forecast results to the Head of PT Finance and Division Finance teams. You will be a key SPOC for the Head of PT Finance working closely on various matters impacting PT financial results. At the same time you’ll have a strong network which will give you the ability to gather reliable insights to anticipate financial impacts. In addition, you will play a PT Finance SPOC role to Group and Division Finance stakeholders.
Further responsibilities

Coordinate and lead the PT planning process, helping to develop the PT assumptions and story

Work closely with eCoE PT analytics on monthly PTLT financial communication, MTO, and TO events on the overall PT storyline

Develop intuitive insights based on data to increase transparency on performance

Support business cases for key decisions

Be a subject matter expert on relevant accounting topics

Model COS and COS% to provide financial guidance and support as part of the Pharma Division forecasting and planning processes

Lead the PT-related topics for an external audit, control the PT-relevant Group Restructuring Plans (GRPs)

Support manufacturing network harmonization efforts to ensure consistent financial treatment across sites

Be a sparring partner to the PT Finance Leaders and support financial decision making across functions with the best outcome for PT
In this role, you are expected to connect the information received through various channels analyze the impacts in PT Financials and beyond, and communicate such to the PT Finance head and other stakeholders where necessary. The enterprise view looking beyond the PT will be a significant success factor for this role.
Who you are
-
At least 5-10 years of experience in a multinational financial consolidation environment

Strong knowledge of manufacturing finance especially in consolidation related to COGS and Inventory and strong knowledge of IFRS, ACCA, or CPA preferred

Experience with internal controls and external audits is preferred

Strong stakeholder management skills with various levels and groups of stakeholders. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Entrepreneurial spirit and curiosity that is inspirational to others

Ability to navigate through a complex, broad, and diverse organization

Fluency in written and spoken English
