We have been exclusively mandated to recruit the position of Head of Global Product Management Lubricants for our client, a leading chemical lubricant company in the greater Bern area. In this dynamic role, you will be tasked with:
- Gather and analyze market and competitive intelligence
- Manage product and segment growth
- Develop value propositions
- Support product launches and sales
- Oversee application engineering
- Drive product segment strategy and pricing management
- Hold global responsibility for product and application management
- Implement corporate strategy
- Manage and develop team members
- Participate in industry events
- Support sales talks and contract negotiations
The desired profile covers the following points:
- A very strong background in lubricants, preferably in cooling lubricants in the metalworking industry, is a must
- Preferred background in basic technical training as a chemical laboratory technician or machining
- University degree in chemistry, mechanical engineering, or related field
- Additional training in business administration
- Demonstrated success in international product and application management within the metalworking industry, specifically in machining manufacturing, mechanical engineering, or toolmaking sectors
- Experience with sustainability initiatives is a plus
- Proficiency in English and German required; knowledge of French is an advantage
- Ability to travel approximately 20% of the time.
