As a Flights Coordinator Trainee for EF Education First International Ltd, EF’s in-house travel agency, you will be working in an energetic, multi-national operations department. Being a part of the Travel team, you will be helping our customers, as well as our own EF staff members, to travel the world. For successful candidates, this traineeship can serve as a step towards a full-time, permanent position.
Start date for this full-time traineeship is January 6, 2025 and lasts 6 to 9 months.
Your responsibilities:
- Work closely with our team of Service Flight Coordinators to support the overall travel experience for our customers
- Work directly with the airlines for group and individual bookings, claiming group reservations and problem-solving late changes
- Issue tickets for both individual and group reservations
- Perform quality and cost control audits
- Provide administrative support for various processes
Requirements
- Nationality of one of the EU or EFTA countries or a work permit in Switzerland
- Strong command of English, both written and spoken
- Possess excellent time management in a deadline driven environment
- Adaptable to changing situations; have a “nothing is impossible” attitude and ability to multitask
- Organizational skills and great attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize and take action
- Comfortable working with various reports and computer systems, including Amadeus and Sabre, the airline reservation systems used by EF. Prior GDS experience is preferred but not required.
