Responsibilities
- Define and optimize packaging, palletizing, and maintenance solutions from finished product silos to stock and trucks, ensuring compliance with product requirements
- Develop User Requirements Specifications and Functional Design Specifications for technical, automation, and IT/OT requirements
- Ensure efficient production process design and implement a preventive maintenance program
- Support packaging, palletizing, and maintenance projects while ensuring compliance with Omya's engineering and safety standards
- Support global maintenance strategies and best practices for packaging and palletizing equipment
- Conduct supplier audits and evaluations, ensuring technical excellence and maintenance support
- Define critical spare parts management and develop global KPIs to measure and optimize performance
Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering, Automation or similar discipline
- At least 5 years working experience in relevant field
- Expertise in packing and palletization engineering systems
- Thorough understanding of packaging equipment operation
- Great time management skills and ability to organize, multi-task, and prioritize
- Strong understanding of business challenges
- Solution-oriented and proactive approach
- Willingness to travel up to 20 %
