(Senior) Investment Solutions Manager, Private Assets, Director 80-100%

We are a leading financial institution and a large private assets investor overseeing over USD 300bn in balance sheet, unit-linked and pension assets. To strengthen our Investment Solutions team, we are looking for an experienced, hands-on investment solutions manager focusing on growing and managing our private asset platform in Luxembourg. The ideal candidate has an ownership mindset to manage and scale investment platform(s) as well as proven experience in private debt as well as other alternative asset classes.

What you will do

• Develop and manage Zurich’s unit-linked private asset platform in Luxembourg incl. existing private debt solution

• Coordinate investment and portfolio management activities such as: strategy/portfolio oversight, performance review & analysis, flows management, liquidity planning, etc.

• Support business development and go-to-market activities

• Seek synergies with Group platforms and support balance sheets initiatives as required

• Identify and implement product opportunities in the private asset space

• Support local Zurich entities in launching relevant product products incl. advise on private asset allocation

• Develop and nurture relationships with partner asset managers and key platform stakeholders (AIFM, fund admin, depositary, transfer agent, legal counsel etc. )

• Develop and maintain Group governance of private assets within unit-linked insurance wrappers

What you bring

• Proven experience in managing private assets investment solutions across Europe (focus on retail customer segments and semi-liquid ELTIF wrappers is a strong advantage)

• Extensive expertise in private debt / private credit, any other asset class is an advantage

• Background with relevant Luxembourg investment vehicles (RAIF, UCI part II etc.)

• Understanding of Life insurance sector incl. unit-linked and other capital light saving solutions

• Ability to work independently and proactively with various stakeholders incl. asset class experts, proposition developers, distributors and assurance specialists

• Experience in managing projects requiring the coordination of third parties incl. legal counsel, fund administrators and management companies

• Fluent English plus working knowledge of Italian or German is an advantage.
