In order to reinforce the Logistics team in our HQ in Biel/Bienne, we are currently looking for a
WATCH PROCUREMENT PLANNER & SCHEDULER / RETAIL PURCHASER 100%
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to manage both Watch Procurement Planning & Scheduling and Retail Purchasing. In this dual role, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient procurement and scheduling of watch components and finished products, as well as overseeing the retail purchasing process. You will work closely with internal teams, suppliers, and external partners to meet production deadlines, maintain stock levels, and support business operations across various departments.
Job description
Watch Procurement:
- Production Planning & Scheduling: Collaborate with partners and suppliers to define production plans for watch heads and components to ensure timely deliveries in the right quantity and quality.
- Load Capacity Management: Monitor and manage the load capacity to ensure feasibility over the short and medium term. Adjust schedules as needed.
- Follow-Up & Monitoring: Track daily and weekly progress to ensure compliance with production plans. Implement corrective actions and reprioritize tasks when necessary.
- Cross-Department Coordination: Communicate launch plans and timings to relevant departments, including Product, Sales, e-Commerce, Distribution, Logistics, and Warehouses.
- Collection Replenishment: Ensure timely replenishment for both Core and Special collections.
- New Collection Coordination: Work with the Development team to monitor and ensure timely production releases of new collections.
- Support & Backup: Assist the team leader and provide coverage in their absence.
- Reports: Provide regular KPI reports and analysis to monitor performance and ensure targets are being met.
Retail Procurement:
- Full Purchase Process Coordination:
- Manage quotation requests, cost analysis, and cost comparison.
- Handle order requests and ensure timely follow-up on SAP orders and deliveries.
- Monitor suppliers stock levels and ensure proper replenishment.
- Track ongoing projects, claims, and development progress with suppliers, Retail Environment Design, and Distribution teams
- Master Data Management
Profile
- Commercial background or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in planning and scheduling management, preferably using ERP systems.
- Familiarity with manufacturing and production processes is essential.
- Technical knowledge of retail furniture would be a plus.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Knowledge of the Material Management module in SAP is a plus.

You are solution-oriented, result-driven, and responsible with strong organisational skills as well as pronounced analytical, technical, and planning skills. Customer, service, and solution oriented, you are used to work in fast moving, international environments and deal well with priorities and tight deadlines. Moreover, you are a team player with good interpersonal skills, can build relationships with other teams and departments.
Languages
In addition, you are fluent in English and French, additional language such as Italian would be a plus.
