Communications Specialist / Web Content Editor 100% - ENG

Our client is a global financial institution based in Basel focused on supporting central banks and international organizations. They are currently looking for an External Communications Specialist to lead the content migration and ensure the seamless alignment of their website with new templates, improving user experience and digital presence.

Description

• Modify existing content from the current website to align with the structure, templates, and page layouts of the new website
• Apply best web practices and the latest usability standards to the content for optimal user experience
• Generate metadata for effective recommendations, search functions, email alerts, and RSS feeds to improve content discoverability and engagement
• Migrate content from the existing Content Management System (CMS) to the new solution, ensuring a smooth transition
• Work closely with the Digital Communications and Content team, webmasters, and other business areas to ensure content aligns with the new website's needs
• Identify and implement opportunities to enhance content for the new website, ensuring it meets the target audience's needs
• Monitor and track the progress of content migration to ensure it aligns with project timelines and goals

Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, English, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field
• 4+ years of experience in web-based communications
• Proven content editing or copywriting experience (preferably in banking/finance)
• Proficiency in CMS and digital publishing
• Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, and HTML
• Familiarity with Drupal CMS and visual communication tools is a plus!
• Strong written English, editing, and proofreading skills
• Quick learner with excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities
