Aimorphous Health AG (www.aimorphous.health), a young Swiss deeptech startup supported by Regional Innovation System Basel-Jura, develops an AI-powered blood diagnostic device to help prevent and treat the number 1 disease cause of death and debilitation, achieving longevity, healthcare sustainability & equity.
Due to the development and growth of our company and to strengthen our innovation and product development in Basel, we are looking for a research lab scientist to participate in the exciting method development, varied routine analysis and diagnostic product development and manufacturing in the fields of thrombosis, hemostasis and immunohematology (incl. blood product management).
Key information about the tasks
- Research Lab Scientist in bioanalytical development in a startup environment
- With immediate effect or by appointment
- Workload: 80 – 100%
- Contract type: Unlimited employment
- Place of work: Basel, Switzerland
- Sample management for storage, collection, conformity and their documentation
- Maintaining lab system, documentation & working according to quality standards (GxP, ISO 13485)
- Collaboration on method and product development & manufacturing
- Carrying out administrative work & maintaining the operation and functionality of the laboratory according to the quality standard and SOPs
- Perform calculations and record results Write analytics reports
- Clinical-chemical analyses
- Assay development, verification and validation
- Ensuring project timelines are met within the financial budget
- Managing and performing assay development and validation, ensuring the scientific integrity and completeness of the data
- Optimizing internal processes to enhance efficiency and quality of R&D
- Contributing to SOP, technical documentation in the QMS
What you bring to the table
- At least a degree as BMA HF, Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Laboratory Diagnostics or BSc/MSc from FHNW’s bioanalytics, Biomedical Laboratory diagnostics or life technologies or equivalent, preferably with initial experience in coagulation, hematology, hemostasis, immunology
- Precise and responsible way of working with an eye for detail
- Good knowledge of German and English (written and spoken, language level B2)
- Highly self-motivated, pro-active, reliable, motivated, cooperative, empathetic, eager-to-learn/-adapt/-comply, curious & flexible but well-disciplined personality, with problem-solving and interdisciplinary cooperative interest, mindset and abilities
- It is easy for you to communicate with customers
- Strong knowledge of relevant biochemical methods, statistical knowledge is an advantage
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience with GxP or ISO 13485 is an advantage
- Proficient in computer skills (at least Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
