MISSION
As an IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for handling IT technical requests, resolving incidents, and ensuring the readiness of IT software and hardware for users. You will serve as the first point of contact for IT-related issues, ensuring a high level of service through effective troubleshooting, escalation, and project participation.
You will report to the IT Infrastructure Group Leader and collaborate closely with the IT Director and third-level support teams to continuously improve IT operations.
TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
Service Desk & Technical Support
- Serve as the main point of contact for Service Desk incidents and requests.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues related to Active Directory, Office 365, and workplace systems.
- Report and escalate complex incidents to third-level support as needed.
- Maintain user accounts lifecycle management, including onboarding and offboarding processes.
IT Infrastructure & Maintenance
- Install and configure new hardware and software according to company standards.
- Ensure systems are actively monitored for optimal performance and evaluate when software or hardware updates are needed.
- Maintain up-to-date IT procedures and documentation for users and Service Desk teams.
Project Participation & Technology Evaluation
- Participate in specific IT projects as defined by the IT Infrastructure Group Leader and IT Director.
- Evaluate new technologies (hardware/software), formulate recommendations, and propose improvements.
EDUCATION & PERSONAL SKILLS
- Relevant CFC or equivalent required.
- An Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
- At least 5 years in a technical support or similar IT role.
- Proficiency in hardware and software troubleshooting.
- Experience with Active Directory and Office 365 administration.
- Knowledge of computer installation via Intune and SCCM.
- Understanding of modern workplace environments.
- Familiarity with iOS device installation and management via Intune.
- Experience with videoconference system support is a plus.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.).
- Fluent in French and English; German is a plus.
