The Specialties team is looking for a curious and interested leader with sales and numerical flair for the role of:
Your tasks
- Responsible for the Swiss market (including Austria and further central European markets) and its profit and loss. This incorporates also defining and owning the strategy
- Steering of a sustainable and a long-term cyber portfolio
- Professional and disciplinary management of the cyber team including attraction and development of further talents
- Drive thought leadership in the responsible markets
- Conducting negotiations and customer relationship management with insurance brokers and clients as well as our offices worldwide
- Comprehensive analysis of client risk data, preparation of quotes and policies including premium calculations and determination of insurance terms and conditions
- Management of existing book of business, acquisition of new clients and sales partners
- Active participation in the development of insurance products
- Active contribution to our global cyber community
What you bring with you
- Completed studies in business administration or computer science or comparable higher education
- Longstanding professional experience in underwriting cyber risks, further experience in the Specialties area such as tech E&O, D&O, professional liability and BPL/BBB is an advantage
- Excellent technical and scientific understanding, portfolio management skills as well as an excellent understanding of forecast and planning processes
- Proven leadership experience
- Ability to contribute, develop and deliver on business plan and group strategy
- Professional experience in intercultural communications and negotiations
- Familiar with product development and understanding of claims handling
- Empathetic, service-oriented personality with a high degree of initiative and the will to help shape the future of the organization
- Independent, innovative and solution-driven working attitude
- Fluent German and English skills, both verbal and written. French is an advantage
