Research Associate - Data and Asset Allocation

Lightbridge AG, an investment boutique based in Switzerland. We partner with a select group influential familiy offices to provide our clients with exclusive investment opportunities and access. We are looking to build out a team and are looking for entrepreunerial minded people.

We are seeking a Research Associate- to join our investment research team. This is a hybrid role—combining the analytical discipline of asset allocation with the data science.

This is a unique opportunity to shape how families allocate across asset classes—by combining long-term thinking with modern analytical methods.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance strategic asset allocation models incorporating capital market assumptions, risk factors, and liquidity profiles
• Build and maintain forecasting tools, portfolio simulations, and stress tests across public and private markets
• Apply data science techniques (e.g., machine learning, time series analysis) to improve insight generation and scenario planning
• Collaborate with investment team members to translate macroeconomic data into actionable portfolio strategy
• Support client-facing teams with customized portfolio diagnostics and benchmarking
• Contribute to investment memos, research publications, and internal thought pieces

What We’re Looking For

• 2–4 years of experience in investment analytics, data science, quant research, or a similar role
• Background in economics, statistics, computer science, applied math, or finance
• Familiarity with financial modeling, capital markets, and multi-asset portfolio theory
• Clear communicator—able to distill complex ideas into intuitive insights
• A high level of curiosity, precision, and collaborative energy
