As a team member of the Packaging R&D laboratory based in Crissier and part of our global Pharmaceutical R&D, you will play an active role in the testing and optimization of our containers systems for pharmaceutical and irrigation products in collaboration with different sites/colleagues worldwide.
Your responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain testing methods for physical testing of packaging, containers and functional components, according to international standards and/or internal needs and support their validation,
- Support laboratory testing activities,
- Ensure compliance of equipment, methods, and generated date to applicable GxP standards,
- Support to test equipment development (i.e. testing software programming, test fixture design),
- Support container systems development within the framework of existing projects/assignments
Your expertise:
- Apprenticeship as minimum level, ideally higher scientific or academic education,
- Strong technical background in terms of packaging testing, including state-of-the-art data acquisition and software programming knowledge (i.e. LabView, Minitab, Phython),
- Lab fixtures design and creation using CAD software and 3D printing,
- Good experience of laboratory equipment for physical testing (general know-how, qualification, maintenance, compliance),
- Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and its processes related to container system testing and Good Laboratory Practice,
- Good communication and team-work skills, as well as ability to cope with multi-disciplinary testing requests
