The Position
For Roche Information Solution Architecture and Engineering, at our Rotkreuz (CH) and Sant-Cugat (Spain) locations, we are looking for an SDL, a motivated and committed person who can encourage our team toward the values of passion, integrity, and courage. The SDL has a critical leadership role in the SAFe framework and is responsible for guiding and supporting multiple Agile Release Trains (ARTs) to deliver large and sophisticated solutions. The SDL acts as a matrix leader, working collaboratively with teams, stakeholders, and other leaders to ensure successful delivery, alignment, and continuous improvement within the SAFe context.
Roche Information Solution is part of Roche Information Solutions (RIS), which is a newly crafted business under the Diagnostics division in Roche that provides coordinated digital solutions to deliver on the promise of affordable, high-quality, and accessible healthcare. RIS is accountable for developing and delivering digital solutions, common Diagnostics architecture, and data management. Digitalization in healthcare is of growing importance to deliver customer and patient value, and shape healthcare. We are a Clinical Insights chapter under the Architecture & Software Engineering function.
The Opportunity:

Facilitate Solution Train events and processes, including PI Planning, Inspect and Adapt (I&A), and PI Planning Retrospectives.

Coordinate the work of ARTs and Suppliers to ensure value delivery to customers and enforce to mQMS.

Support ARTs in delivering value through coaching, mentoring, and guidance; identify and remove impediments.

Optimize the Algorithm productization process and ensure milestone delivery.

Align with Q&R, CDMA, evidence generation, Platforms, and other teams for successful delivery.

Serve as a model of Lean-Agile Leadership; mentor leaders and collaborate to improve ESD proficiency.

Oversee product development, including timeline, quality, budget adherence, and maintain top-level development plans and fact-based project progress reports.
Who you are
-
15+ years of software proven experience, including 10 years in software development/testing and 10+ years as a scrum master/agile delivery (PO Syncs, System Demos, PI Planning).

Experience managing large-scale agile delivery methods based on SAFe with 50+ people.

People management experience of at least 5+ years and 3+ years in Algorithm development in Healthcare.

Relevant SAFe certifications and training; Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.

Hands-on experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure), knowledge of measurement domains (outcomes, flow, proficiency), ISO 13485 & MDR, and managing geographically dispersed teams.
