In our quest to revolutionize the world’s infrastructure, we are seeking a Global Strategic Marketing Specialist for our SI Building Business Unit Team within our Strategic Marketing Unit.

The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Global Strategic Marketing Specialist to join our team. As the Strategic Marketing Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in developing market and competitor insights contributing to oversee the marketing strategy implementation.
Your new responsibilities
- Drive market modelling for the Global Business Unit Siemens Smart Infrastructure Buildings, managing periodic reporting processes to derive market sizing, growth forecasts and market shares
- Monitor competition (financial performance and offering) and track developments of key market players, emerging technologies, new customer segments and industry trends
- Contributing to the company’s strategic processes (i.e. Strategic Planning, Budget), being responsible for providing input on market data and competitors
- Conduct market study projects, including scope definition, identification of potential vendors, multi-stakeholders’ alignment and budget proposal
- Leverage market, customer, and competitive insights to drive marketing initiatives and identify new growth opportunities
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Technical Units, Vertical Market Managers, Countries, to ensure alignment with overall marketing strategy and objectives
Your talents and experience
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, or a related field
- 5 years plus of professional experience in related fields within the B2B area
- Sound knowledge in the Building industry, with Siemens/ comparable portfolio
- Proven experience in market data modelling and in conducting market studies/ competitive analysis
- Understanding of main financial data (Profit & loss statements and balance sheet)
- Strong project management skills and ability to work effectively in a cross-functional, global team environment
- Experience in a complex organization, with several stakeholders and multiple channels to market
- Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite (e.g., Excel, Outlook, etc.) and in using strategic planning / analysis tools
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex ideas in a clear and engaging manner
- Quantitative skills focus on using data to understand a topic, solve a problem or make a recommendation
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Fluent in English, with proficiency in additional languages being a plus
