For our client, a global MedTech player, we are seeking an experienced Senior Legal Counsel with a strong background commercial contracts and IP.
It will be a 6 months assignment starting 1 April 2025.
In this role, you will play a critical role in the contracting processes, from drafting and reviewing commercial agreements to negotiating key deals involving raw materials sourcing, professional services, distribution, and sales.
You will provide strategic advice to stakeholders across various levels, covering a broad range of legal issues such as dispute resolution, competition regulations, and intellectual property rights.
It will be a 6 months assignment starting 1 April 2025.

You will provide strategic advice to stakeholders across various levels, covering a broad range of legal issues such as dispute resolution, competition regulations, and intellectual property rights.
The company is an internationally active Swiss group of companies headquartered in Zurich (+- 35min from Zurich HB by public transport).
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead drafting, reviewing, and negotiation of commercial agreements and collaborate with procurement for supplier lifecycle management
- Provide legal counsel across global operations and develop contract templates to ensure efficiency and compliance
- Offer IP legal counsel, manage trademarks portfolio, and handle IP-related agreements and enforcement actions
- Promote integrity, excellence, and innovation in all legal activities to support Sonova's mission and values
Key Requirements:
- Law degree from a reputable EU, Swiss, or UK university; advanced studies in business law are advantageous.
- Qualified attorney with bar admission in at least one jurisdiction; additional qualifications are beneficial.
- Minimum of 10 years of legal experience in a multinational company, preferably in med tech, high tech, or life sciences.
- Proficient in English and German, with strong skills in drafting complex contracts and providing strategic legal advice
