Are you a creative storyteller with a passion for social media? As our Social Media Manager, you'll craft engaging content, drive community engagement, and shape our brand's presence across multiple platforms. From ideating innovative campaigns to analyzing performance metrics, you'll play a key role in connecting with and growing our audience. If you're ready to bring your creativity and social media expertise to the table, we'd love to hear from you!

Tasks:

• Production of creative social media videos (e.g., Reels, TikToks, commercials)
  • Strategy: Developing innovative, entertaining video concepts to increase engagement 
  • Pre-Production: location-scouting, organization of protagonists etc.
  • Shooting: Camera, lighting & audio setup
  • Post-Production: Editing, color grading & sound design using state-of-the-art tools
• Development of the two mediamatics apprentices who assist in the entire production process
• Support the social team in creating social media content (carousels, single images, infographics, etc.)
• Close collaboration with our intern stakeholders to adapt campaigns specifically for social media channels
• Monitoring current social media trends and implementing creative ideas

Requirements:

• 5 Years Experience in professional video production for social media (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Snapchat), agency experience is an asset
• Strong knowledge for social storytelling (rights, algorithm etc.) and a knack for viral trends and engaging content
• Proficiency with cameras, lighting technology, and editing softwares (using Adobe Creative Cloud programs or DaVinci Resolve but also familiar with CapCut)
• Independent, responsible, and structured work style with a high focus on quality (visually but also grammatically)
• Ideally, experience in motion graphics and animation
• Native in German, fluent in English, French is an asset
