Would you like to be one of the amazing people creating wonders? A deluxe tour and river cruise operator is looking for energetic and motivated persons for its Swiss Office in the Center of Zug.
As Operations Coordinator, you will be part of a young, friendly and established team of professionals, supporting the organization in delivering service performance and customer satisfaction.
With your high energy, can-do attitude and flawless organizational skills you will make an important contribution in this varied role - from supporting our cruise/tour directors, to working with the product team, accounting, and purchasing to managing the day to day operations.
Responsibilities
- Preparation of all tour related files and documents prior to the operational season.
- Participating in and contributing to trainings and seasonal meetings.
- Preparation of travel documents for both passengers and Cruise/Tour directors.
- Briefing of Cruise/Tour directors prior to their assigned cruise/tour and debriefing them upon completion of each cruise/tour.
- To provide specific and detailed information about a given tour to Cruise Directors and Suppliers, such as passenger manifest, special requirements list, rooming list, day by day technical itinerary uniquely tailored to that specific departure
- Emergency handling, during office hours and out of office hours on a rota basis. Liaising directly with the passengers in emergency situations, as well as emergency services.
- Processing of deviations and alternative programs in case of operational or technical issues.
- Monitoring and continuously suggesting improvements to all providers of services and attractions that are listed in the Brochure/Technical Itinerary and finding suitable alternatives in case of need.
Experience
- Customer-minded and solution-oriented.
- Passionate about "exceeding expectations" and delivering outstanding customer experiences.
- Clear attention to detail and structured working method.
- Good planning and organizational skills.
- Team player who has experience working in deadline-driven environments.
- English and French fluency is required, German and other European languages are an advantage.
- Good skills in MS Office programs including MS Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Several years of work experience in the travel or cruise industry.
- Travel
- Up to 15% travel is required.
