Brief Call: Our process typically begins with a brief virtual/phone conversation to get to know you! The objective? Learn about you, understand your motivations, and make sure we have the right job for you!
Interviews (the average number of interviews is 3 - the number may vary depending on the level of seniority required for the position). During the interviews, you will meet people from our team: your line manager of course, but also other people related to your future role. We will talk in depth about you, your experience, and skills, but also about the position and what will be expected of you. Case study: Depending on the position, we may ask you to take a test. This could be a role play, a technical assessment, a problem-solving scenario, etc.

Job description
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Calculation Specialist with a strong background in engineering calculations, particularly in piping and structural analysis. This senior position requires at least 10 years of experience, preferably with knowledge of nuclear power plant requirements. Proficiency in German is mandatory or highly advantageous.
🔥 Responsibilities:
- Perform detailed and rapid calculations for piping and structural engineering to support project decisions.
- Conduct advanced static, dynamic, thermal, and thermomechanical simulations using ANSYS for precise structural analysis.
- Utilize software such as ROHR2 and RFEM to perform calculations for pipe and steel construction.
- Ensure all calculations comply with industry regulations and nuclear technology standards, such as ASME BPVC, Eurocodes, AD2000, EN13480, and EN13445.
- Provide clear analysis and synthesis from calculations to guide project planning and implementation.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and documentation, communicating results effectively to relevant teams and stakeholders.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure technical requirements are met and safety regulations are followed.
🎯 Your Profile:
- You have 10 years of experience in calculation engineering, with specific expertise in piping calculations and structural mechanics.
- You are proficient in performing static, dynamic, thermal, and thermomechanical simulations with ANSYS.
- You are experienced with tools like ROHR2 and RFEM for pipe and steel structure calculations.
- You have in-depth knowledge of industry regulations, including ASME BPVC, Eurocodes, AD2000, EN13480, and EN13445.
- You possess strong analytical skills like the ability to make fast, accurate calculations and provide precise analytical insights.
- You are fluent in German (mandatory) and/or English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- You have experience in nuclear power plants or similar industries, with 1-2 years of relevant experience as a significant advantage.
