Job Description Summary
We are looking for an experienced Account Manager (AM), with a proven track record, to work within our Medication Management Solution (MMS) team in Italy.The purpose of the role is to develop the market (public&private healthcare system) and generate incremental revenues and profit through selling new cross-business solutions that are focused on improving patient safety and productivity of hospital.
The AM will also be responsible for developing account strategies to increase the category share of all patient care segments and all product categories of the BD MMS products and services.
The AM will work closely with other members of the commercial function including Business Development Executive, Clinical, Marketing, Customer Service, Projects management, Solution Managers.

About the role:
Creating and executing a significant pipeline. Consistently utilizing all resources available within MMS and Market Access team;
·Deep understanding of Hospital’s medication dispensing workflows and automation technologies;
- Undertake workflow analysis to understand current workflows for Prescribing, Dispensing, Compounding and administration (End2End, Closed-loop). Consult with customer Pharmacy, Consultants, Procurement/Purchasing, IT, Supply Chain, Finance and Executive personnel on automation-related change management and clinical process re-engineering requirements;
· Demonstrate advanced knowledge of: MMS products and solutions, industry insights for Infusion and Dispensing products, key competitors, terminology, technology trends, challenges, reimbursement and government regulation;
· Develop selling strategies aligned with MMS Vision, in conjunction with multiple teams (sales/solution) and partner;
· Building and maintaining relationships with key decision makers (C-suite) ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty;
· Support the sales team in Tender preparation
Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Clinical Engineering, Information Technology, medical technology or related field and/or business administration

7 years of experience with evidence of career progression in the relevant sales field, ideally with prior experience in key account management in public and private healthcare system.

Experience in working in a multinational or international environment

Business savvy with a strong commercial mindset and results track record

Strategic agility, with conceptual thinking and analytical skills

A good understanding of Hospital logistic workflow, processes and dynamics will be required

A good understanding of Hospital IT framework will be required

Ability to engage, involve and influence cross functional teams (sales, marketing, technical) to drive the required outcome for the customer

Design mindset being able to help the customer visualize the end solution. Evidence based track record in solution selling and cross functional selling

Proven experience in the distribution of complex solutions in the healthcare system

Forecasting and pipeline management and understanding of reporting analytics

Performance orientated and able to work to deliver agreed targets

Effective interaction with all levels of internal and external staff in problem-solving

Excellent presentation and communication skills.

Ensure mobility within the assigned territory (Italy&Greece)
-
Fluency in English both written and spoken.
