Key Responsibilities
Retail Marketing Strategy & Execution
- Own and drive the Retail Marketing Relationship across Lenovo’s Consumer Portfolio at key retail accounts.
- Develop and deploy full-year omnichannel GTM marketing plans for key retailers, integrating sales, category, and digital growth strategies.
- Define KPIs to measure marketing impact and ensure all initiatives drive profitable sales conversion across in-store and online retail ecosystems
- Partner with Sales, Category, and Digital Business Development Teams, as well as Strategic Alliance Partners (Intel, AMD, Qualcomm, Google, Microsoft, etc.), to align marketing efforts.
Retail Marketing Activation & Customer Experience
- Lead execution of best-in-class merchandising, advertising, and promotional programs that drive traffic, engagement, and conversion.
- Deliver a category-leading brand presence in-store and online, ensuring alignment across endcaps, sales planners, digital storefronts, product pages, and retail media.
- Drive customer experience excellence by optimizing POS (Point of Sale) marketing, creative assets, and digital content across retail partner platforms.
Analytics & Business Insights
- Analyze marketing programs (e.g., promotions, merchandising, brand stores) to measure ROI and optimize future activations.
- Perform competitive market analysis, promotional impact assessments, and customer journey insights to drive informed decision-making.
- Develop and present Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with key retailers, translating data into actionable insights that shape future strategy.
Collaboration & Leadership
- Serve as the voice of the retail partner internally, ensuring Lenovo’s marketing strategy aligns with retailer priorities and customer expectations.
- Work cross-functionally with internal marketing, sales, and executive leadership teams to integrate broader NA and global marketing campaigns into retail strategies.
- Stay ahead of emerging retail trends and digital innovations to enhance Lenovo’s retail marketing effectiveness.
Basic Qualifications:
- 6+ years’ experience in retail marketing, omnichannel merchandising, and/or digital marketplaces.
- 3+ years of experience in scalable media activations and growth marketing.
- Deep understanding of NA retail environments/accounts (e.g., Best Buy, Walmart, Amazon, Costco, etc.).
- Strong expertise in marketing analytics, promotional ROI measurement, and shopper insights.
- Ability to develop and execute customer-centric promotions and merchandising strategies.
- Excellent budget management, negotiation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Proven track record of managing external stakeholders and agency relationships.
- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and presentations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Retail marketing experience in consumer tech, e-commerce, or CPG.
- Experience with data-driven performance marketing and A/B testing strategies.
- Strong ability to synthesize insights and recommend data-driven optimizations.
