We seek a skilled and experienced Atlassian Administrator with expertise in Jira, Confluence, and Atlassian Service Management (JSM) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the configuration, customization, and maintenance of our Atlassian suite, ensuring optimal performance and user satisfaction. Your role will be pivotal in enhancing collaboration, streamlining workflows, and supporting our project management, knowledge sharing, and IT service management needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Jira Administration:
- Configure and customize Jira instances to meet the specific needs of different teams and projects.
- Design and manage Jira workflows, custom fields, issue types, screens, and dashboards to align with business processes.
- Monitor and troubleshoot Jira performance, addressing technical issues to ensure minimal disruptions.
- Integrate Jira with other tools in our technology stack, optimizing the platform's functionality.
Confluence Administration:
- Manage and administer Confluence spaces, pages, and templates to facilitate effective knowledge sharing and collaboration.
- Customize Confluence to improve the user experience, including the creation of macros, blueprints, and plugins.
- Provide support and training to teams on Confluence best practices, ensuring the platform is effectively used across the organization.
- Maintain and manage Confluence permissions, ensuring data security and compliance with organizational policies.
Atlassian Service Management (JSM) Administration:
- Configure and manage JSM projects to support IT service management and customer service operations.
- Design and implement service desks, request types, SLAs, and automation rules to meet ITIL and service delivery requirements.
- Integrate JSM with Jira, Confluence, and other tools to create seamless workflows and improve service delivery efficiency.
- Monitor JSM performance, ensuring high availability and responsiveness of service management processes.
- Extend and maintain the CMDB integrated with JSM Request and Service Types.
General Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into effective Atlassian solutions.
- Manage user access, permissions, and security settings across Jira, Confluence, and JSM, ensuring data integrity and compliance.
- Provide end-user support and training, helping teams maximize their use of Atlassian tools.
- Stay updated on the latest Atlassian features, updates, and best practices to continually improve platform utilization.
- Perform regular backups, migrations, and upgrades of Jira, Confluence, and JSM to ensure stability and scalability.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Atlassian Administrator, with strong expertise in Jira, Confluence, and Atlassian Service Management.
- In-depth knowledge of Jira administration, including configuration, customization, and workflow design.
- Experience with Confluence administration, including space management, content customization, and user support.
- Familiarity with Atlassian Service Management, including service desk configuration, SLA management, and ITIL practices.
- Problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Groovy, Python) is a plus.
- Jira, Confluence, and JSM certifications (e.g., ACP-100, ACP-600, ACP-400) are desirable but not required.
