The Role

We are seeking a dynamic, visionary leader to join our team as the Head (f/m/d) of Strategy for our Buildings Business. This critical role will drive the long-term strategic direction of our business, ensuring sustainable growth, technological advancement, and market leadership. This individual will be responsible for defining and driving a comprehensive business strategy that positions us for success in an evolving industry.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy Development & Execution

·         Sharpen our vision and roadmap for the business to drive profitable growth.

·         Own the development of the overall business strategy for the Buildings Business.

·         Steer our strategy execution program with key partners to ensure execution on a global scale.

Portfolio Analysis & Optimization

·         Drive strategic projects with in-depth analysis to identify areas for portfolio optimization.

·         Work closely with M&A teams on Siemens Corporate and Smart Infrastructure level to execute corporate development measures.

Market & Technology Insights

·       Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and technological advancements, in close collaboration with our Marketing and Portfolio teams.

·       Identify innovation opportunities that drive differentiation and new value propositions.

Sparring partner for Management & Leadership

·         Act as a trusted advisor to senior executives and as sparring partner for other senior leaders in our business.

·         Foster positive relationships within and across business units to drive execution of key initiatives.

Who You Are

You bring deep expertise in corporate strategy, gained either through a track record in a top-tier consultancy focusing on industrials, technology, infrastructure, or M&A strategy, or through leadership roles in related industries. Your ability to drive central initiatives, navigate complex structures, and deliver impactful business transformations sets you apart.

• Shown experience in crafting and performing business strategies in a tech-driven environment.
• Strong understanding of portfolio analysis and business optimization.
• Ability to anticipate market and technology trends and position the business for future success.
• Familiarity with hardware, embedded software, and digital services in the smart buildings space.
• Ability to translate data into actionable strategies.
• Strong collaboration and executive communication skills.
• Embrace collaboration across countries and cultural backgrounds, with willingness to work in a global environment across time zones.
