For new and growing technical challenges, we are looking for a Manufacturing Technician.
Your main tasks
The manufacturing technician, in close integration with the product design, defines the processing cycles/flows, takes care of the adaptation of production technologies and the possible use of external resources. He guarantees support and, where necessary, intervenes on problems related to the production process and the operation of the plants.
Tasks:
- Collaborate in the definition and development of production processes thanks to in-depth knowledge of the main production technologies
- Support during the introduction of new production processes in production
- Follow the planning and organization of the process phases in connection with the planning, production and quality areas
- Collaborate in defining times and methods related to new products and existing products subject to optimization
- Relate production needs to requests from other functions involved
- Propose and introduce improvements in the context of manufacturing and quality processes
- Collaborate with quality in defining rules and criteria for compliance with customer specifications, both in terms of performance and quantity and quality, detect/examine any deviations in order to identify and, if necessary, implement respective corrective measures.
- Ensure support for the development of techniques and manufacturing methods
- Analyze production problems, assist personnel and transfer knowledge when introducing changes and innovations
The figure is in a position of strong interaction between the engineering and technical design departments and the Logistics, Production and Quality areas.
Your profile
- Technical degree in SSST or similar, in mechanics, mechatronics or similar
- Experience in an industrial environment in a similar position
- In-depth knowledge of mechanical machining and industrial cleaning processes
- Analytical skills
- Aptitude for teamwork and problem solving. The successful candidate will be placed in the research and development department.
- Flexible, communicative and with a spirit of initiative
- Good knowledge of computers, MS-Office applications
- Knowledge of German and English is an advantage
