Your role and responsibilities
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Area Sales Manager to oversee the sales performance of our Energy Storage System (ESS) product line. In this role, you will participate in sales strategy discussions, assign goals, and negotiate sales budgets and marketing plans. You will also direct and coach global sales teams to meet their targets and exceed customer expectations. The work model for the role is: #LI-HybridYou will be mainly accountable for:• Managing global product pricing for ESS, ensuring topline growth and profitability • Assisting and supporting the sales team and customers throughout the sales process, while developing business by increasing knowledge of products and markets • Identifying customer needs and competitors’ offerings through market studies, ensuring effective marketing and communications that reflect the value proposition of products and services • Conducting product presentations and training sessions • Performing sales performance reviews, proposing recovery plans for potential order shortfalls, and producing sales reports to assist in production planning and analyze lost proposals
Qualifications for the role
- In-depth knowledge and market insights for all aspects of ESS, with a focus on key market segments such as Railway, e-Mobility, and Marine, as well as technical ESS knowledge
- Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in a global team, with a passion for closing deals
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken; additional languages are beneficial
- Proven ability to deliver effective market insights and pricing solutions globally
- Experience in business development, account management, and cross-selling
- Excellent communication skills, adept negotiation capabilities, a focus on customer needs, and a professional approach
