You will lead the ESG reporting and compliance to different ESG benchmarks and standards, with a focus on the EU CSRD (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive) and ESRS (European Sustainability Reporting Standards). Your ultimate goal will be to meet the mandatory ESG compliance and lift further Coca-Cola HBC sustainability performance.
You can be successful in this role if you:
- Manage the materiality process and assure full compliance with the ESRS by working with all relevant departments.
- Contribute to and manage the external annual ESG reports and responses to ESG information requests from external stakeholders (rating agencies, rankings, investors).
- Contribute to development of the internal policies, guidelines and processes for sustainability reporting in close collaboration with other departments and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Conduct and support internal performance reviews. Identify areas for improvement and implement performance management plans and metrics to track progress against sustainability goals.
- Coordinate the ESG assurance process by working closely with the 3rd party ESG auditors and all internal functions to ensure a) no critical or major gaps, and b) all recommendations and improvement opportunities are captured and implemented.
- Continuously improve the ESG reporting internal control environment (by working with other functions and BUs) to ensure consistent, accurate and timely ESG information as well as auditable and efficient reporting processes.
- Manage multiple and complex internal and external ESG information request ensuring quality of deliverables in line with company standards and positions and ensuring milestones and deadlines are met.
- Builds relations with key internal stakeholders to progress the ESG reporting and disclosure agenda within the company.
- Provide guidance, collaborate and share knowledge in different ESG areas with the BUs and Group functions to ensure ESG priorities are achieved.
- Support Group Sustainability Governance and Nature Programs Manager in various projects and activities.
Our new team member needs to have:
- Formal Education: University degree in Environment, Business, Management, Chemistry, Ecology, Engineering or other technical/science-based education.
- Advanced English (written and spoken).
- Understanding in detail each part of “E”, “S” and “G” and how they are applied in business environment.
- Deep knowledge of the GRI Standards and the ESG reporting regulations such as the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive and the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (CSRD/ESRS).
- Understanding the corporate business environment and the role/dependency of the main corporate functions, with their role in the ESG strategy and execution.
- Experience in ESG internal reporting preparation (Integrated Annual Reporting, ESG digital tools).
- Experience in materiality assessment and impact assessment.
- Proven experience of successfully preparing ESG reports and responses to ESG ratings and rankings (e.g., CDP, S&P Global, MSCI ESG).
- Working experience in managing ESG data collection and reporting processes.
- Solid analytical skills and attention to numbers and details.
- Excellent project management skills and an ability to manage multiple complex projects and diverse stakeholders.
- Advances MS Office skills.
- 7+ years of related professional work experience in sustainability.
