As the General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations and ensuring that the company’s strategic goals are achieved. This leadership role requires a hands-on approach to managing multiple departments, including business development, marketing, operations, and client relations. The General Manager will play a key role in driving growth, optimizing processes, and building a sustainable and scalable business model to maintain company’s market leadership in the digital construction space.
Leadership & Strategy:
- Provide overall leadership to the company team, managing cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with company goals.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to drive growth, improve operational efficiency, and scale our services.
Business Development:
- Oversee the business development team to identify and engage new construction companies and suppliers.
- Foster relationships with key clients, ensuring their ongoing engagement and satisfaction.
Operational Excellence:
- Ensure the efficient and smooth running of daily operations, optimizing processes across departments.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
Product & Innovation:
- Work closely with the product team to ensure that company’s platform continues to evolve with market demands and remains competitive.
- Oversee platform enhancements, ensuring customer feedback is incorporated to improve user experience.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 12+ years of experience in a senior leadership role, within the construction industry.
- Leadership: Proven track record of leading teams and driving business growth through strategic planning and execution.
- Industry Knowledge: Solid understanding of the construction supply chain and procurement processes, with an emphasis on digital solutions.
- Skills: Strong leadership, financial management, and communication skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Languages: Fluency in English is essential; knowledge of German or French, or Italian is a must.
