The Global Marketing and Sales Competence Leader is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing comprehensive competency development programs for the worldwide marketing and sales teams. This role aims to enhance the skills, knowledge, and performance of the teams to drive business growth and achieve strategic objectives.
How you’ll make an impact

Strategic planning: develop and execute a global competency development strategy aligned with the company’s business goals. Identify key competency areas and create a roadmap for continuous improvement.

Program development: design and implement training programs, workshops, and e-learning modules tailored to various levels of marketing and sales professionals. Collaborate with business units and regions, internal and external subject matter experts to ensure content relevance and quality. May select or oversee vendors to develop training content or conduct training. Occasionally, act as an instructor or facilitator for programs.

Performance management: establish metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of competency development initiatives. Through global implementation of our marketing and sales functional competency assessments, regularly assess and report on the progress and impact of training programs.

Leadership and collaboration: lead a team of training and development professionals. Work closely with business unit and regional marketing and sales leaders to understand local needs and customize programs accordingly.
Innovation and best practices: stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in marketing and sales training. Introduce innovative learning methods and technologies to enhance training effectiveness. -
Budget management: manage the budget for global competency development initiatives and coordinate with regional resources. Ensure cost-effective delivery of training programs.

Stakeholder engagement: build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior leadership, HR, and external partners. Act as a trusted advisor on competency development matters.
Your background:

Master’s degree in business administration (MBA), marketing, human resources or other related discipline.

Ten years of related experience in learning and development, competency development, or marketing and sales training, with a proven track record in a global or regional role.

Proven ability to effectively lead and collaborate in a global matrix organization, strong leadership and team management skills.

Proficiency in learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills; strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Fluency in English, both written and oral
