Leadership skills:
The Chief Executive report to the Board of Directors and his role confine in particular to:
Give advises to the Board on how to approach or handle issues related to Human Rights.
Advocates / promotes the Center and stakeholder change related to The Center mission
Supports motivation of employees who are working in the Center.
Prepare Early report to the Board about the achievements and the success accomplished throughout the year.
Visionary / Information Bearer
Ensures staff and Board have sufficient and up-to-date information in the realm of Human Rights in the MEANA region.
Looks to the future for global dialog opportunities Interfaces between Board and employees
Interfaces between the Center and other NGOs.
Decision Maker
Formulates policies and planning recommendations to the Board.
Decides or guides courses of action in operations by staff.
Manager
Oversees day to day operations of the Center
Implements pre-approved early plans.
Manages human resources of the Center
Manages financial and physical resources of the Center.
Builds and sustains a reputation for quality, reliability, and customer satisfaction.
Writes and delivers press releases and handles all communication sent to the other Government and
Non-Government organizations.
Develop strong relationships with Commissioner Office of Human Rights reps.
Responsibilities of Chief Executive Officer
1. Board Administration and support: supports operations and administration of Board by advising and informing Board members, interfacing between Board and staff.
2. Program, Product and Service DeliveryOversees design, marketing, promotion, delivery and quality of training programs, and consulted services.
3. Financial, Tax, Risk and Facilities ManagementRecommends yearly budget for Board approval and prudently manages organization's resources within budget guidelines.
4. Human Resource ManagementEffectively manages the human resources of the organization according to authorized personnel policies and procedures that fully conform to Swiss laws and regulations.
5. Community and Public RelationsAssures the organization and its mission, programs, and services are consistently presented in strong, positive image to relevant stakeholders.
6. Fundraising Oversees fundraising planning and implementation, including identifying resource requirements, researching funding sources, establishing strategies to approach funders, submitting proposals and administrating fundraising records and documentation.
Qualifications
A Bachelor’s Degree in international relations, or Human rights is required with a minimum of 7 years experience in a senior management position as chief executive officer,
