Dickies EMEA is looking for an exceptional Demand and Supply Planner to join our Planning team based in Stabio, Switzerland.

Let’s Talk about the Role
You, as Demand and Supply Planner, will be responsible for building sound and accurate buy forecast, planning purchases ensuring product availability, minimizing inventory exposure and to liaising with other departments to continuously support the business.
How You Will Make a Difference
Forecasting and Planning
- Analyse sales history, sales/market input and current orderbook to build an accurate buy forecast.
- Plan purchases based on forecast, current inventory levels, open purchase orders and production constraints.
- Coordinate global deadlines and share buy information with global planning teams and all sourcing offices.
- Partner with sales teams to maximise business opportunities.
- Analyse shortage and excess inventory positions to order to guarantee maximum efficiency.
- Manage the required system settings.
Production/Distribution
- Liaise with sourcing office on general delivery problems, define shipments mode and negotiate extra costs.
- Manage purchase orders from creation to receipt.
- Coordinate product acquisition from vendors and monitor vendor performance.
- Monitor and track sales orders coverage.
Reporting and Analysis
- Conduct qualitative & quantitative analysis to highlight trends, opportunities, and performance relative to respective product collection.
- Produce sales analysis and budget reports.
- Order coverage and inventory level analysis.
- Responsible to track buy plan accuracy for assigned production collection; perform seasonal root cause analysis to identify learnings and apply to future seasons.
- Responsible for KPIs tracking and analysis in support of all needed corrective actions.
Skills for Success
- At least 1 year of experience with Forecasting and Planning activities
- Good communication skills in English (Italian is an asset)
- Strong knowledge of Excel; experience in a Microsoft Windows environment
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining accuracy and efficiency while respecting deadlines
- Passion for working with numbers, analytical mindset.
- Team player but also able to work independently
