We are actively seeking a Laboratory Expert (all genders) for our team.YOUR ROLE - THAT WAITS FOR YOU
The healthcare sector is undergoing radical change and Switzerland needs to catch up.At adesso, we support leading laboratories, healthcare service providers and eHealth / mHealth solution providers with our process and IT expertise in their digital transformation.
Help us with your knowledge and skills so that we can make our contribution to making the Swiss healthcare system fit for the future. Your tasks include:
- Assess laboratory processes and provide recommendations for improvements.
- Develop and implement data transmission processes using HL7, LDT, and other protocols.
- Select, configure, and test Laboratory Information Systems (LIS).
- Train team members and customers on laboratory-specific topics.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to optimize laboratory workflows.
WIE DIR DAS GELINGT
We are seeking a candidate with a strong background in the medical laboratory field, ideally with experience in IT-related roles within this environment. Previous roles could include, but are not limited to: Software Developer, Business Analyst, Requirements Engineer, Product Owner, Project Manager.Proven Expertise: Demonstrated experience in a medical laboratory setting, showcasing successful implementations, process optimizations, and effective troubleshooting of IT-related systems
Optional Skills:
- Familiarity with healthcare data transmission protocols such as HL7 or similar.
- Proficiency in databases and SQL.
- Experience with programming languages like Java, Python, or others.
- Knowledge of the Swiss health / medical laboratory ecosystem.
Language Skills
- Fluency in English and German is required. French or Italian is a plus.

- Team player
- Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
- High self-motivation and independence
