With consideration of capacities, constraints and the cost impact of different scenarios/options, the Master Scheduler provides a comprehensive and well thought out plan (short, mid, and long term) for all manufacturing sites (incl. definition of mitigation/gap closures when needed), to achieve required business demand at best manufacturing cost outcomes and for Rochester they will build and manage the daily/weekly/monthly production schedule to meet Supply Chain KPI’s and goals, while utilizing continuous improvement to streamline core processes.
Essential Job Functions:
- Ensure product availability according to the demand (sales forecast / orders/ affiliate stock transfers/SS targets) while ensuring appropriate inventory levels as defined by the Arxada Supply Chain.
- Production schedule provides balance between optimal customer service and plant efficiency. (Time fence, tank capacity levels, campaigns, etc.). Planner will work with plant personnel to understand processes and limitations, so that plan is feasible.
- Rolling finite schedule at least 10 days out (at a minimum) for Finished Products, with Mid and long-term schedule built out as far as feasible (4–6-week goal), longer for difficult products).
- Daily review of exception reporting (impact from new orders, delayed production, missing raw materials, etc.) and production schedule adjustments made accordingly.
- Holds weekly supply reviews to report out on KPIs, highlights areas of risks or concerns, project updates to key stakeholders.
- Work cross functionally to minimize Slow Moving/Obsolete Inventory.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelors degree preferred, High School diploma or equivalent.
- 5-10 years of experience in Production Planning/Scheduling/SAP.
- SAP / MWB or similar planning tool.
- Microsoft Office (heavy with excel).
The expected salary range for this role is $88,200 - $107,800; specific employee compensation may vary depending on factors including experience, education, training, licensure, certification, location and other job-related, non-discriminatory factors permitted by law.
This role is also eligible to earn a short-term incentive bonus and the following benefits: 401(k) plan, medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, paid time off, paid holidays and paid sick leave.
