For our customer Roche Diagnostics International AG based in Rotkreuz we are looking for a highly qualified Embedded Instrument Control SW Tester

Background:

In an agile working environment together with a team of experts you will be the person who is responsible for the testing of our embedded Instrument Control Software and interaction with Hardware-, Software- and System-Development. As an Embedded Instrument Control SW Tester you will ensure and increase reliability and quality of our design and deliverables by testing, analyze the data generated from our systems and support with root-cause-investigations to give specific information to address identified issues.

The perfect candidate has a Bachelor or Master Degree in mechanical engineering or in a related field. Additionally the candidate brings several years of experience in development and testing of Software in an agile setup and proven expertise and knowledge of SW test automation and programming skills. Also, we are looking for Teamplayer with good communication skills and a proactive working style.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Testing of Software functionalities and its interaction with Hardware and the overall System
  • Planning, Creation and execution of test cases based on product and technical requirements
  • Documentation of performed tests and analysis of generated data, logs and results to gain insights
  • Tracking of issues and the corresponding verification of bug fixes
  • Troubleshooting within R&D and support of production
  • Execution of work packages within area of responsibility

Must have:

• Bachelor or Master Degree in mechanical engineering. electrical engineering, software

engineering or related disciplines
• Min. 5 years' experience in development and testing of Software in an agile setup preferably within a Hardware near environment
• Proven expertise and knowledge of SW test automation and programming skills
• Technical knowledge of software and mechatronics
• Teamplayer with good communication skills and a proactive working style
• Experience with Linux in a professional environment
• Willingness to learn new things and to go the extra mile
• Fluency in English (written and spoken), German is an asset
