Position
The mission of the Strategic Insights department is to proactively provide real consumer, brand and trade data and insights, generate hypotheses and connect and translate these into strategies & actionable business programs. The role of SI Associate reports to the SI Lead Manager and provides support to the SI team and closely collaborates with Marketing, Sales, Finance and other departments. Its remit covers a range of knowledge areas, all of which feed into the strategic decision-making on Category, Portfolio, Brand, Channel and Pricing focus.
Responsibilities
As the Strategic Insights Associate you will…
- Support project management to deliver business-relevant, actionable and concise output, fully aligned with the business needs and reporting requirements
- Perform timely analysis & communication of top-line performance
- Analyze sales data and other sources of information, delivering insights into company performance against set KPIs
- Support analysis of regional management presentations as well as assist in formulating portfolio & pricing analysis including alignment with key stakeholders
- Proactively seek innovative ways to drive JTI business growth by foreseeing upcoming consumer and trade trends
Requirements
- University business degree or equivalent educational background in Marketing
- Relevant experience in FMCG within data analytics or marketing research
- Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research techniques, including the latest digital measurement tools
- Basic experience in handling data analytics, data mining & brand strategy
- English fluent, any local language desirable
- Knowledge of MS Office, PowerBI, SQL or any other database administration
