We are expanding our Business Intelligence Team and are currently looking for Lead Operations Reporting who will lead the development of Group's Operations Performance Reporting strategy and roadmap in close collaboration with key stakeholders.
The Lead Operations Reporting will actively contribute to achieving the Operations Excellence objectives by driving continuous improvement reporting initiatives, and establishing global standards, processes and solutions to enable user-friendly, reliable and data-driven performance management. Lead Operations Reporting will partner directly with the Lead Commercial Reporting and others in the same team to harmonize cross functional global operational and strategic reporting as well as with the Global Operations GPO organization, Global Operations Finance/Controlling, and Global Operations Leadership.
A job that matters: Your Tasks
- Own the Group's Operations Performance Reporting, including developing solutions targeting globally aligned reporting, forecasting and planning needed in the day-to-day decision making and steering of the business of the CCO organization. Existing reporting solutions include the Global Sales Dashboard (lead by Lead Commercial Reporting), OTD, OTR, Lead Time, Orderbook, Incoming Order, PPS, Performance KPIs, Back log, utilization, FTE/Capacity etc.
- Lead the development, testing, training and roll-out of global Operations Reporting solutions in close collaboration with the key stakeholders, including Operations Leadership, Finance Leadership, Commercial Leadership, Strategy, Global Functions, dormakaba business services (dbs), Controllers, RECITE team and Group IT.
- Act as a trusted partner to ensure high quality and on-time deliverables in coordination with the tower heads of the dormakaba business services (dbs)
- Strongly drive the implementation of group wide Reporting standards and processes to achieve Operations Excellence objectives
- Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives with increased focus on data quality and user friendliness
- Actively contribute to the success of the 'Simplify Reporting' Project, Global Process Organization, and Business Intelligence Competence Center (BICC)
- Lead and coordinate knowledge transfer sessions, including with dormakaba business services (dbs) and local operations teams, and establish key user community
An experience that matters: Your Skills
- University degree with strong Operations, Business or Finance business background, preferably with affinity to Business Intelligence solutions
- Work experience in a senior position in a multinational company with exposure to operations reporting & planning, performance management and/or business intelligence
- Profound understanding of operations and commercial solutions, business intelligence and analytics topic, controlling concepts and tools
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Word, and SAP products (especially SAP Analytics Cloud, SD, MM, PP, etc modules and Business Warehouse) and BI tools
- Refined Project Management skills and ability to coordinate in a multi-cultural environment
- Reliable team player with strong communication skills, high sense of responsibility and the ability to adapt to ad hoc requests
- Business Proficiency in English
