Marketing & Translation Specialist 50-80%

What We Expect 

• Translate English marketing materials into German while ensuring cultural relevance and engagement
• Ensure translated content maintains brand voice, creativity, and accuracy while engaging European audiences
• Write and edit compelling German-language copy for social media, websites, emails, advertisements, and other marketing materials
• Assist in community management, writing, and responding to brides on our social channels while seeking opportunities to engage
• Support influencer marketing initiatives by identifying and managing collaborations with relevant European influencers
• Adapt and optimize website copy to ensure it resonates with the German market
• Support content and marketing teams with research, idea generation, and general marketing coordination
• Proofread and edit European marketing materials to maintain accuracy, grammar, spelling, and brand voice consistency
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure marketing efforts align with brand strategy and European market needs

What We Are Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree required, preference for Journalism, Communications or Marketing
• Minimum 2 - 3 years’ marketing, social media or communications experience, including experience in translating English to German copy and materials
• Fluent in both English and German (written and spoken) with exceptional translation and writing skills
• A creative and strategic writer with a knack for storytelling and brand messaging
• Experienced in marketing and social media with a strong understanding of brand messaging
• Knowledgeable in translations ensuring that the message maintains the original's persuasive impact while adapting to cultural norms
• Detail-oriented and organized, with strong proofreading and editing skills
• A proactive team player, eager to contribute creative ideas and support various marketing
• Must have the ability to work at a fast pace with a sense of hustle while remaining detail-oriented
• Must be curious and have a continuous improvement mindset
• Experience in Marketing Agency, Bridal Industry or Retail is a plus and will make your application more strongly considered but not required
