Why we are recruiting:
This role will report to the Head of Event Strategy and Engagement within the Global Programming Group. The successful candidate will also work closely with the wider Forum’s Business team and the Forum’s thematic centres.
The Global Programming Group is responsible for stewarding the Forum’s institutional events, leading on programming, architecture, and operations. The Event Strategy and Engagement team is tasked with engaging business, government, academia, and other stakeholders across Forum’s institutional events. Among other responsibilities, the team supports the Group’s Managing Director in preparing strategic assessment and impact reports presented and discussed regularly with the Impact and Stakeholder Engagement Committee.
This role requires excellent writing, strong analytical, and robust communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues from Global Programming Group, business teams and the Forum’s thematic centres. The successful candidate will lead impact reporting for the Forum and will regularly engage with the Group’s Managing Director.
Main Responsibilities:

Serve as the rapporteur of the Forum’s Impact and Stakeholder Engagement Committee that is co-chaired by the Centre’s Managing Director; preparing minutes and supporting documents for Committee Meetings;

Develop impact measurement by identifying potential metrics for assessing Forum impact, integrating these into future assessment reporting;

Prepare presentations and reports that distil impact data in a concise way and present clear strategic recommendations based on the data;

Draft strategic recommendations for the Committee, supported by qualitative and quantitative analysis that capture feedback from Forum leadership and committee members;

Work closely with the Global Communications Group to draft key messaging for the Forum’s institutional events and define events’ content strategy;

Draft the Global Programming Group’s submissions to the Forum’s Annual Report and other impact related external facing documents;

Support business teams in articulating the value proposition of institutional events to Forum’s Partners, as well as other stakeholder groups;

Assist the team’s Head in preparing leadership reports for the Managing Director around institutional events.
Reporting Lines and Interactions
This position will report to the Head, Event Strategy and Engagement in Geneva.
The successful candidate will be assessed on:

Data analytical skills, including experience with analysis-driven communication;

Quantitative and qualitative research skills;

Ability to communicate information clearly across written platforms;

Background in strategic management, management communications or similar field;

Ability to build effective relationships internally and externally;

Ability to navigate an uncertain environment and take a proactive role in identifying moving projects forward;

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Preferred requirements and experience

Master’s degree in business administration, public administration, or related field;

5 years of relevant professional experience in strategic consulting, impact evaluation, data analysis and/or business communications;

Strong quantitative and qualitative research skills; experience in data gathering, analysis and visualization;

Experience with impact reporting and results-based management systems of multi-donor funded programmes and projects is desirable;

Computer literacy in Microsoft packages (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access) is required, and knowledge of statistical analysis software (e.g., STATA or SPSS) is an asset.
