Help to provide electricity in Switzerland

As a Linux Engineer, you are jointly responsible for the development and reliable operation of our infrastructure services. As an engineer in operations and development, you cover all the topics relating to the infrastructure services in your area of responsibility. Your tasks include:

• Design and further development of a complex Linux server landscape
• Automation with Ansible for efficient deployment and configuration
• Contributions to stakeholder projects
• Close exchange with project, ops, cyber and architecture teams
• Use of container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Performance optimisation, troubleshooting, security and patch management

To fill this position, we are looking for a communicative team player with an independent and structured way of working. You are resilient, flexible and enjoy working in a dynamic environment. You also have the following:

• Sound experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (preferably RHCSA/RHCE)
• Very good knowledge of Ansible and scripting (Bash, Python)
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team
• Enthusiasm for sophisticated infrastructures and security
• Experience in dealing with enterprise networks
• A good command of German and English
