Within the new FIA Project Management Department, you will play a pivotal role in managing and coordinating cross-functional projects, while actively supporting the Head of Department in developing the department.
This dual role offers a unique opportunity to lead impactful projects, contribute to the organization's ongoing transformation, and help shape the future of the FIA’s project management capabilities.
The start date of this position is 3 February 2025.
MISSIONS AND RESPONSABILITIES:
Transversal project management and coordination
- Organize and structure cross-functional and Performance Office projects.
- Coordinate project activities and facilitate project progress.
- Schedule and lead steering and project committees, write minutes, and ensure clear communication with various stakeholders.
- Prepare detailed project reports and presentations for project sponsors and senior leadership.
- Drive change management initiatives and organize project reviews.
Support to the Head of Department in developing department's services
- Collaborate with the Head of Department to develop the department’s core PMO services:
- Project Support: Provide guidelines and advice to project managers, project manager support or project leadership.
- Portfolio Management: Build trust-based relationships with FIA staff to ensure regular updates on ongoing projects, enabling the creation of a comprehensive portfolio and effective progress monitoring.
- Training and Tools Support: Develop training materials, deliver training sessions to diverse audiences, and implement project management and collaboration tools across the FIA.
- Work closely with the Head of Department and the Chief Performance Officer on broader organizational initiatives, including process formalization and continuous improvement.
PROFILE:
- University degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is mandatory.
- Change Management certification is a desirable plus.
- 5 to 10 years of experience in project coordination/management and portfolio management, ideally in an international context.
- Experience in consulting is an asset.
- C1 or C2 proficiency in English and in French; additional languages are advantageous.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Proficiency in ERP systems.
- Ability to excel in dynamic environments, strong resilience, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to driving strategic projects.
