Job Description Summary
The Salesforce.com Solution Architect will lead technical projects teams in the Salesforce.com Ecosystem and deliver value through technology to the Service and Commercial organization. The ideal candidate must have minimum 10 years’ proven hands-on experience in Salesforce implementations and experience leading technical project teams. The selected candidate will be a part of the TGS Platform Solutions organization and interface with business and technology teams to deliver value by completing projects in the Service and Commercial project portfolio. The candidate needs to be highly technical, a great communicator and problem solver. Candidates must have experience with Salesforce.com Service, Field Service, and Experience (Community) cloud. The ideal candidate will be independent, self-motivated, innovative, prioritize effectively, organized, detail oriented, able to work with cross-functional teams, and quickly adapt to change.

Responsibilities
- Deliver business value through technical leadership and the implementation of high quality, scalable, and secure technology solutions on the Salesforce.com specifically focused on Service Cloud capabilities
- Collaborate with Business Partners, Business Leaders, Service Organization, Commercial Organization, Platform Solutions, and Strategic Partners teams on end-to-end system implementation including requirement gathering, functional requirement, testing, design and architecture, build, testing, release, and system stabilization.
- Lead the design and architecture for and Salesforce.com projects and enhancements in collaboration with our Strategic Vendors.
- Lead the design and prototype of technical solutions.
- Provide guidance and leadership to production support teams to ensure break fix issues are resolved in a timely manner.
- Perform hands on configuration, development, testing, or other tasks, as required through the end-to-end project lifecycle or project operations to ensure projects are delivered with first time quality and production operations are stable.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven Salesforce.com Service Cloud technical and project leadership experience with full lifecycle Salesforce.com implementation experience and at least 10 years of experience working with SFDC.
- Salesforce.com certifications
- Experience implementing Salesforce.com projects, enhancements, upgrades.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to demonstrate concepts visually and in writing in a way that enables stakeholders to decide with confidence.
- A strategic approach to solution design, with proven ability to develop and execute tactical plans to support the strategy.
- Proven ability to translate business process and user requirements into functional requirements and solution design.
- Ability to influence others across various levels in the organization, work independently, and manage through ambiguity.
- Work across multiple time-zones.
- Ability to effectively balance and prioritize multiple projects concurrently.
- Experience with waterfall and agile project management methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Apex triggers, classes, Visualforce, Flow, Lightning components.
- Experience with Salesforce.com architectural best practices and standards.
- Experience integrating Salesforce.com with various applications.
- Experience with other Conga Products including Conga CPQ, Grid, and Composer.
- Experience working with CPQ (Oracle and Conga), MuleSoft, SAP, and DocuSign integrations to Conga CLM.
- Experience with DataCloud, Analytics, and Generative AI.
- Experience with Salesforce.com data and metadata migration tools e.g. Metazoa, Copado, etc.
- Experience working in a large matrixed and FDA regulated corporation.
- Active in the Salesforce community.
Duties will include but not be limited to:
- Lead development teams to deliver full lifecycle Salesforce.com implementations from inception to go-live.
- Review and triage of business requirements and collaborate with business partners on the preparation of business cases.
- Gather user requirements, functional requirements, conduct analysis, design solutions on the Salesforce.com platform, and establish metrics for success.
- Troubleshoot and problem solve technical production issues.
- Write comprehensive design specifications (functional specifications and solution/technical design document), functional unit test, and user acceptance tests.
- Perform gap analysis between platform capabilities and business requirements.
- Manage projects for application development to meet business needs and best practices.
- Lead the development of data migration strategies and implementing data cleansing/data quality tools.
- Perform technical design reviews.
- Collaborate with technology teams on a variety of operations topics such as design standards, best practices, regulatory documentation.
- Perform hands on configuration or development.

- Hands on experience with configuration, development, flows, and can provide guidance to technical teams and junior members of the team based on that experience.
- Quick to learn systems and unwavering ability to “dig-in” to the system to understand design, troubleshoot problem, and fill in knowledge gaps when historical documentation is not available.
- Experience with contracting processes that demonstrates the ability to quickly understand complex business processes.
- Demonstrated ability to write high quality technical and non-technical documentation, including but not limited to requirement documents, functional specifications, design documentation, architectural blueprints, and process diagrams.
- Experience working through a complex regulator, validated, matrixed environment, and complex operating processes.
- Experience delivering projects in a waterfall and agile project management methodologies.
- Experience managing vendors across multiple time-zones.
- Proven ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities.
- Experience structing technical project timelines that consider technical dependencies, deployment, build, test phases, release, refresh, hypercare and other critical SDLC phases.
- Experience presenting technical designs and concept to a non-technical audience.
