As an Assistant IT Manager, you will oversee and maintain the hotel’s IT operations to ensure the seamless functionality of networks, software applications, hardware, and security systems. This role includes providing daily technical support to hotel staff by troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues, as well as responding to guest IT-related requests, such as Wi-Fi connectivity and in-room technology needs. You will also document IT procedures, system configurations, and troubleshooting steps, and assist in preparing user guides and training materials for staff and guests.
We’re looking for a proactive problem-solver who stays up to date with the latest technology trends and can propose necessary improvements to enhance efficiency and guest satisfaction.
•2-3 years of experience in IT support, system administration, or a similar role, ideally within the hospitality industry.
•Familiarity with hotel management software (PMS), especially OPERA Cloud, as well as network and server management and guest service technologies.
•A forward-thinking mindset with the ability to identify and recommend technological improvements.
•Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with staff, assist guests, and liaise with vendors.
•A detail-oriented and solution-driven approach, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
