As a System Tester with a focus on cybersecurity, you ensure that our Building Automation systems are properly secured against cyberattacks. You are an experienced tester with a strong growth mindset and deep knowledge of cybersecurity. You are interested in new technologies, eager to become an expert in the Building Automation domain, and potentially develop towards a Product & Solution Security Expert. Your new responsibilities
- Testing Building Automation solutions from field devices to the cloud to identify security flaws and vulnerabilities
- Developing and maintaining automated testing scripts and tools to streamline the testing process
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to incorporate security best practices into design and development pipelines, ensuring Secure by Design principles
- Communicating findings clearly, providing actionable recommendations for improvement to development and engineering teams
- Being part of an agile development team, sharing and expanding your knowledge, and mentoring other team members
Your talents and experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- 1-3 years of experience in a related field or similar position
- Familiarity with various security testing tools and methodologies
- Ability to understand the cornerstones of software architecture
- Experience in product, system, and integration testing
- Proficiency in programming languages like Python
- Expertise in DevSecOps and cloud computing
- Knowledge of network technologies (wired/wireless), components (routers, switches, firewalls), and protocols (SMTP, DNS, IPv4, IPv6, TCP, UDP, HTTPS, TLS)
- Proactive, motivated, and committed mindset, with a strong inclination to collaborate with global teams and drive technological advancements
- Experience with IEC 62443 and assessing penetration test reports is a plus
- Proficient English skills, both written and spoken; German skills are beneficial
