Scintilla AG is responsible for the global development, manufacturing, marketing and coordination of distribution of accessories for power tools for the trades, for industrial applications and for DIY.

Job Description

You are responsible for product development (from idea to series production) for the “Wood & Metal Drilling”- Accessories product segments.

• You develop and improve analytics and test procedures.
• The Implementation and coordination of product tests as well as evaluation of the results is part of your work.
• You proactively participate in product manufacturing process projects and launch teams.
• With your technical background you research and analyze relevant technical information and patents to derive concepts.
• You are curious of understanding our customers and market needs (UX) and derive technical features from it.
• With your open personality you closely cooperate with product management/marketing in cross-functional teams and with external partners (manufacturers, universities, engineering companies, standardization committees).

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor or Master Degree in the field of mechanical engineering or technical studies

Experience and know-how: At least 3 years professional experience in a similar position, experience with manufacturing processes and product development projects, knowledge in 3D modelling preferably ProE/Creo, experience in measuring technology and test methods

Personality and working style: Very good analytical and self-organization skills, high solution orientation and creativity, hands-on mentality and interest in craft activities, entrepreneurial mindset

Willingness to travel: 5-10%

Languages: Excellent in German and English
