Join our team and play a crucial role in bringing our innovative ideas to life, from initial concepts to functional prototypes and pilot-scale setups. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated (Senior) Technician with a background in polymechanics and/or automation, hands-on prototyping experience, and proficiency in machining techniques. You will work closely with our R&D teams and thermal product engineers, supporting the development of our data center cooling solutions.
What you will do:
- Build machining processes and know-how for our proprietary materials, with a strong focus on easy integration and assembly, and scalable manufacturability.
- Manufacture prototypes and “minimal viable products”, Supporting product design and ensuring feasibilityWiring, assembly, and testing of electrical circuits Fabrication of mechanical components
- Conduct rigorous testing and analysis to ensure product performance and reliability, creating and maintaining clear and accurate technical documentation and tests reports.
- Ensure proper maintenance and operation of equipment
- Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and procedures in the workshop and laboratory environments.
- Collaborate effectively R&D team and product engineers, fostering an innovative work environment.
What we are looking for:
- Completed vocational training (EFZ/CFC) or further technical education (e.g., HF) in polymechanics, mechanical engineering, automation, or a related field in Switzerland.
- 3- to 5-year experience in hands-on prototyping, automation systems, and/or mechanical design in industrial settings
- Proficiency in machining techniques (manual and/or CNC)
- Good oral and written communication in English and in German (C1 level)
