Description
Join FIFA's Event Operations team as the Director of Event Services, where you'll lead the planning, execution, and delivery of world-class event services across various domains, including accommodation, travel, logistics, transport, and guest operations. You'll play a key role in ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and exceed client expectations.

- Accommodation
- Event Logistics & Transport
- Guest Operations
- Travel
- Tournament Event Workforce
- Volunteer Management
- Strategic Planning & Innovation: Develop and implement strategic plans for event services, continuously assessing and enhancing operational models to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness
- Project Management: Plan and execute large-scale event projects, ensuring they are completed within scope, timeline, and budget while maintaining the highest quality standards
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Foster strong relationships with internal teams, local authorities, third-party partners, and FIFA stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination and exceptional service delivery
- Team Leadership: Lead and develop a high-performing team, providing guidance, support, and motivation to ensure successful project execution and alignment with broader goals
- Operational Excellence: Integrate industry trends and best practices into operational plans, proactively managing risks and overcoming challenges to deliver exceptional results

- 10+ years of senior operational management experience, preferably in world-class sporting events
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus
- Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication, client service, and negotiation skills
- Proven track record in managing large-scale projects and teams
- Availability for frequent travel
