We are looking for a Tax Specialist to advise, monitor and support IKEA Switzerland in a pro-active way on direct and indirect tax matters, with additional assignments within the country insurance coordination.
• You speak German and English and you have a competent knowledge of the Swiss Tax Law and of Finance. For this, you have successfully completed a higher education to a Chartered Specialist in Accounting and Financial Management Federal Diploma or to a Certified Fiduciary Federal Diploma
• You have at least 3 years of experience in Tax, in advisory or in-house role and good knowledge in legal and accounting principles.
• You have good communication skills to understand and explain complex matters to people with different backgrounds and you collaborate with others to achieve goals.
• You have excellent analytical and numerical skills.
• You are result-driven and don’t lose focus on details and accuracy.
• You can comfortably handle unclear or unpredictable situations.
•You can translate expert knowledge into system landscape and act in a changing and complex environment.
Your responsibilities
• Manage all direct and indirect tax matters for IKEA Switzerland to ensure compliance with internal and external requirements
• Ensure accurate and timely filing of the Corporate Income Tax returns, VAT returns and all other reports to local and central authorities and handle tax audits
• Support on tax relevant matters regarding management and statutory reporting
• Advise the local finance organisation on any relevant tax matters
• Ensure availability of books and records in accordance with local legal requirements
• Ensure relevant tax competence, knowledge and awareness amongst team members and other relevant staff
• Participate in local and global projects (providing relevant input on tax matters).
• Manage and lead all insurance processes, procedures and yearly activities for the country in a timely and in an effective way, securing all relevant standards and rules are in place.
