We already have a presence in the region and would like to expand this presence. To this end, we are actively seeking a dynamic and experienced person to fill the position of "Territory Manager (m/w)" (100%).
Your role
The role of the future employee is to expand the presence of Smood AG in Zurich and the wider region. As part of his or her role, he/she will have the following main tasks:
Attracting new partners (80%)
- Prospecting and acquiring new partners in strategic areas: restaurants, supermarkets, wine shops, cosmetics stores and pharmacies, with a particular focus on restaurants.
- Rapidly developing the partner portfolio by signing high-potential businesses and maximising growth opportunities.
- Proactive field approach to identify and convert the best partners before the competition.
Account Management (20%)
- Setting up an effective onboarding process to ensure new partners are activated quickly and start generating revenue in the first few weeks.
- Optimisation of business performance of newly acquired restaurants in collaboration with internal teams.
- Minimal management of existing accounts with a focus on speeding up volume and optimising offers.
Collaboration and communication
- Work closely with marketing and operations teams to increase visibility of new partners and maximise their commercial impact.
- Actively follow up with prospects and new partners via phone, email and face-to-face appointments to maximise conversion rates.
- Attend strategic events to generate leads and increase awareness of Smood in key markets.
Desired profile
Expertise in sales & market
- In-depth knowledge of the gastronomy market in Zurich and the surrounding area: Understanding of the needs of restaurateurs, industry trends and growth levers.
- Ability to adapt the sales approach to the specifics of the market and to quickly identify the best leads.
Sales & acquisition techniques
- Proven experience in the area of hunting.
- Proficiency in active prospecting techniques (cold calling, external appointments, networking) and the ability to generate your own lead pipeline.
- Excellent negotiation and closing skills, particularly with diverse interlocutors (restaurant managers, chains, self-employed).
- Used to working with ambitious targets and managing a fast sales cycle.
Experience & Skills
- At least 2 years of experience in B2B sales, ideally in the restaurant or foodtech industry or in a high-sales dynamic environment.
- Ability to manage a portfolio of prospects and develop long-term relationships with partners.
Languages
- German / Swiss German: essential
- English: fluent
- French: a plus
